The overall task of human resource management therefore, is to develop strategies, policies and procedures, which will facilitate employee effort, commitment and loyalty. In short human resource management is about managing the employment relationship. If the organization is to achieve its goals the employment relationship needs to be stabilized and made reasonably predictable. Therefore as Morgenster Teachers College we have competent staff to carry out such roles in ensuring that best practices are being made.

Department Staff

The main function of the department is to deal with all staff-related matters ranging from selection and recruitment of staff, staff welfare, staff development, staff discipline to staff retention. The department aims at leading in the conceptualisation and development of an Employee Value Proposition and Employee Wellbeing Strategy, Policies and Programmes to attract and retain staff with exceptional diverse potential within the tertiary education sector and to support optimal organisational functioning to attract and retain the right people for the fulfillment of Morgenster Teachers’ College mission and goals. The human resources department is there to ensure compliance with employment laws through appropriately applying them at all times. The department works for the best interest of both the staff and the organisation, striving to create a safe workplace and handling employee disputes as required.
